Software engineers

 

Embedded software:

  • Gaining insight into the low-level functionality of a digital system as you create software applications that are tightly coupled to the hardware on which they run. Developing software to control sophisticated electronics, pushing the limits in extreme conditions with high temperature, shock and vibration challenges.
 
 

Acquisition and Control systems:

  • Developing advanced field systems for controlling real-time measurement activities and the performance of downhole services to increase well production. The challenges span from real-time, event-driven architectures to graphics and usability.
 

Signal Processing and Telemetry:

  • Developing systems for downhole and well site communication. Optimizing data rates and data integrity through cutting edge technologies and techniques, largely in collaboration with internal and external research entities.
 
 

Algorithm design:

  • Develop advanced algorithms for physics measurements, data compression and downhole telemetry solutions.
